Indole-3-carbinol (I3C) is a phytonutrient found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and cabbage. Research has shown that these compounds helps to breakdown cancer-causing estrogens to non-toxic forms. In preliminary research, I3C has been reported to affect the metabolism of estrogen in a way that might protect against breast cancer, an idea supported in both animal and test tube research .
In a placebo-controlled human trial, 200 mg/day I3C resulted in complete regression of cervical precancerous growth in four of eight patients, and 400 mg/day resulted in complete regression in four of nine patients. In the placebo group, no patients had complete regression. Results indicate that I3C has potential therapeutic affects against HPV-induced growths in the cervix. REFERENCE: PMID: 12807955
This result suggests that cervical inflammation is NOT caused by HPV but is caused by a nutritional deficiency. Contact Melissa at the Restoration Shoppe to order I3C (as DIM) today!
NOTE:
- Each DIM molecule is formed from the combining of two I3C molecules. DIM is naturally formed from Indole-3-Carbinol (I3C) during the fermentation or acid digestion of cruciferous vegetables. DIM, like I3C, is present in broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts , and Chinese cabbage. In some studies in which synthetic I3C was fed to animals, about 4% of what left the stomach turned into DIM
Questions remain. As the vaccine may not be effective in the long term, will booster shots at $120 be required? What type of world is it when a large company basically can forcibly take money from our pockets? Why are some legislators really pushing this vaccine?
The chairman of the federal panel that recommended the new cervical-cancer vaccine for pre-teen girls says lawmakers should not make the inoculation mandatory, as the District and more than 20 states, including Virginia, are considering. Dr. Jon Abramson, chairman of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's advisory committee on immunization practices (ACIP), also said he and panel members told Merck & Co., the drug Gardasil's maker, not to lobby state lawmakers to require the vaccine for school attendance.
“Gardasil contains Polysorbate 80, which is linked to infertility in mice,” noted Dee Nicholson, National Communications Director for Freedom in Canadian Health Care. "When 10 to 15 years down the line these girls are grown women and are finding out that they are barren, how many of them will connect the dots?" This question was posed by Deiree L. Rover, a researcher from the Netherlands.

At least 21 states have introduced legislation to specifically mandate the HPV vaccine for school.
- MI passed the bill but not enacted
- OH failed to pass its bill
- MD withdrew bill based on “bad timing”
- NH announced it will provide the vaccine at no cost to girls under age 18.
- SD governor announced a similar plan that will use $7.5 million in federal vaccine funds and $1.7 million from the state's general fund
- VA and NM became the first states to pass a school requirements for the vaccine. Both bills still need governor approval to become laws.
Legislators in 18 additional states and Washington DC have introduced legislation to require, fund or educate the public about the HPV Vaccine. A full list of states and bills has been provided by the National Federation of State Legislators, last updated March 14, 2007.

NEW STUDY FROM THE PEDIATRIC INFECTIOUS DISEASE JOURNAL...NOV. 2007
Background: The large-scale implementation of HPV (Gardasil) vaccine will be followed by cases of autoimmune diseases occurring in temporal association with immunizations. To anticipate events that might be mistakenly assumed to be caused by immunization, their prevalence was monitored before vaccine introduction. FULL ABSTRACT
